Case Study: Fluent Foodie Increases Readers
The Client:
Fluent Foodie is a recipe website that offers easy recipes with directions anyone can follow.
The Problem:
The website needed a way to capture readers' emails. Fluent Foodie was unsure the best way to capture readers' emails. The company spent too much time manually collecting and inputting emails for their newsletter.
The Solution:
Sarah created an automated pop-up window for the website to collect emails. The window is a small box in the corner that triggers after a reader is on the website for about 10 seconds. The reader can choose to sign up in the pop-up box or to ignore it. This give a choice and power to the reader. Once a reader signs up for the newsletter, a welcome email automatically triggers.

The Results:
Fluent Foodie is back to focusing on creating content. There is no more hassle of managing emails manually since Sarah automated it. Since implementing the pop-up window, Fluent Foodie has generated 50% more readers for its newsletter in just two months. This change also increased traffic since readers receive recipes with a link to the website.
